GET PAID FAST / BOTH SERVICES
Dispatch and factoring services: loads booked, paid fast
Our desk finds and negotiates your loads and keeps every document for each one together: rate con, bills of lading, detention times, lumper receipts. Your factor gets a complete packet and pays fast. Use our factoring partner, keep your current factor, or don't factor at all.
We refer carriers to a factoring partner and may be paid for referrals.
ONE LOAD, EVERY DOCUMENT
Truck dispatch and factoring: who touches what
The documents for one load, and the job of the driver, our desk and the factor on each one. Pick a role to light its jobs. Tick each document as it comes in.
| DOCUMENT | DRIVER | OUR DESK | FACTOR |
|---|---|---|---|
| . | Negotiates the load, sends the rate con to you | Checks rate and load number against the invoice | |
| Owner or driver signs, or turns the load down | Never signs for you | . | |
| Gets it signed, photographs it | Checks pieces, weight and seal against the rate con | Needed for fuel advances | |
| Notes in and out times | Asks the broker for approval in writing when the clock starts | Funds it with the load if approval is attached | |
| Gets the receipt at the dock | Confirms the broker will reimburse, adds it to the packet | Funds or reimburses per its terms | |
| Photographs every page before leaving | Checks signatures, dates and notes | Core proof of delivery | |
| . | Assembles and checks all of the above | Reviews and pays the advance |
The rows that cost carriers money are detention and lumper. A detention line without written approval often gets refused, and a factor can only fund what the paperwork proves. That is why our desk asks for approval when the clock starts, not after delivery. The full workflow is on how our dispatch works.
PRICING
Two services, two separate prices
Dispatch and factoring are billed separately. Our fee never comes out of your factoring, and the factor never pays us from your invoices.
DISPATCH / FROM US
- One truck, authority 6+ months5%
- MC under 6 months7%
- Fleets of 2+ trucks4%
Of gross load revenue. No setup fee, no minimums, month to month, 30 days notice to cancel. No haul, no pay.
FACTORING / FROM OUR FACTORING PARTNER
Quoted by the factor on your volume and brokers. We don't set it and don't publish it, because it depends on your situation. Published industry ranges and what drives them are on the get paid fast hub.
We refer carriers to a factoring partner and may be paid for referrals. The referral doesn't change your rate.
Get a factoring quoteWHY THE PACKET MATTERS
Same load, two weeks apart
EXAMPLE: one dry van load with two hours of detention at the receiver, delivered on a Tuesday. The only difference is the paperwork.
MESSY PACKET
- TUE Delivered. BOL photo blurry, second page missing.
- FRI Driver finds the original in the cab and re-sends it.
- MON Factor funds the linehaul. Detention held: no broker approval on file.
- WEEKS LATER Broker short-pays the detention. It comes back to you.
CLEAN PACKET
- TUE, AT THE DOCK Desk asks the broker to approve detention in writing as the clock passes free time.
- TUE, DELIVERY Driver sends clear photos of every page before leaving.
- TUE, EVENING Desk checks the packet against the rate con; it goes to the factor.
- WED Factor funds linehaul and detention together.
Nothing on the clean side is complicated. It is just done on the same day, by someone whose job is to do it. Over a month of loads, those saved days add up to a steadier bank balance and fewer short-paid invoices.
WHAT THE DRIVER STILL DOES
We can't photograph a dock in Ohio
Some paperwork only happens where the truck is. The driver gets the bills of lading signed, notes the times, collects lumper receipts and photographs everything before leaving. Our desk can chase, check and assemble, but it can't sign a BOL or stand at the receiver's window.
So we keep the driver's part short and clear: a few photos and a message at each stop. Everything after that is ours to check and organize.
AT EVERY STOP
- Get the BOL signed and dated, with any damage noted
- Write down in and out times at the dock
- Collect the lumper receipt before leaving
- Photograph every page, flat and readable
- Send the photos to the desk before pulling out
YOUR CURRENT FACTOR
Already factoring? Keep your factor
Plenty of carriers come to us with a factor they like. Nothing about our dispatch requires you to switch.
- 1
Tell us who it is
We note your factor and how it wants documents submitted: app, email or portal.
- 2
We check brokers with it
Before booking, we confirm your factor will buy that broker's invoices.
- 3
We build packets its way
Same documents, in the order and format your factor asks for.
- 4
You or we submit
Whichever your agreement says. The factor always pays you directly.
A NOTE ON FACTORING COMPANIES FOR DISPATCHERS
The factor works for the carrier, not the dispatcher
Factoring buys the carrier's invoices, so the agreement is between you and the factor. A dispatcher shouldn't hold your factoring account, receive your advances or take its fee out of your funding. With us, the factor pays you, and our fee is invoiced to you separately. If a dispatcher ever asks to have your payments routed through it, that is a reason to ask hard questions.
QUESTIONS
Dispatch with factoring, answered
We refer carriers to a factoring partner and may be paid for referrals.
01Can my dispatcher handle factoring paperwork?
We gather and check it. For every load our desk keeps the rate con, the signed bill of lading, lumper receipts and detention times together and checks them against each other. Who submits the packet to your factor is set in your dispatch agreement: you, or our desk if you authorize it.
02Do I have to factor to use your dispatch?
No. Factoring is optional and separate. Many carriers we dispatch don't factor at all, and others keep the factor they already use. If you want a factoring quote, we can refer you to our partner, and you decide. Our dispatch fee and terms are the same either way.
03How fast is payment when dispatch and factoring work together?
It depends on your factor, but the usual delay is paperwork, and that is the part we tighten. With a complete packet ready on delivery day, many factors fund the same or next business day. Without factoring, you wait for the broker's own payment terms.
04Who sends the invoice to the factor?
By default, you or your office, using the packet our desk prepared. If your dispatch agreement says so, our desk can send it for you. Either way, the factor pays you directly, never us, and our dispatch fee is billed separately on your gross load revenue.
