Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information HaulTerminal ("we", "us") collects through haulterminal.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It covers this website and its forms. It doesn't cover the dispatch agreement you sign if you become a customer; that agreement has its own terms.

Information you give us

When you fill out a form on this site, we collect what you type in. Depending on the form, that can include:

• Your name, phone number and email address
• Your company name, MC number and USDOT number
• Your equipment, home base, preferred lanes and how many trucks you run
• For factoring quotes: your monthly invoice volume, the brokers you haul for and whether you factor today
• Anything you write in a message

We also record the consent you give on each form, with the date and time, and the page you sent it from.

Information collected automatically

• Privacy-friendly analytics. We count page views and button clicks to see which pages help carriers. Our analytics tool doesn't use advertising cookies or build profiles of you across other sites.
• Campaign source cookie. If you arrive from a link with campaign tags, we store those tags in a first-party cookie for up to 30 days so we know which campaign brought an application. It holds no personal information.
• Bot protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam. Cloudflare processes technical information about your browser to do that, under its own privacy policy.
• Server logs. Our hosting keeps standard logs, such as IP address and pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.
• Tool inputs. Our calculators can remember your last inputs in your own browser's local storage so you don't have to type them again. That data stays on your device and isn't sent to us. A copied result link contains your inputs in the link itself.

How we use information

• To contact you about the dispatch or factoring request you made, by phone, text or email, as you agreed on the form
• To prepare a dispatch plan or carrier setup if you become a customer
• To answer questions you send us
• To keep the site secure and working, and to understand which pages are useful
• To meet legal obligations

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Who we share it with

• Our factoring partner, our factoring partner, only when you request a factoring quote, so they can contact you with one. We may be paid for that referral. See our disclosure.
• Service providers who help us run the site and handle your request: our email delivery provider (Resend), our hosting and security provider, and our analytics tool. They process data for us under their own security and privacy terms.
• Brokers and shippers, only after you become a customer, and only the carrier information needed to set you up and book loads you approve.
• Authorities, if the law requires it.

Partner links on this site, like those to a drug testing consortium or a breakdown protection plan, take you to the partner's own website. What you share there is covered by their privacy policy, not ours.

Texts and calls

If you agreed on a form to be contacted by phone and text, we may call or text you about your request, including by automated means. Consent isn't a condition of any service. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or tell us on a call or through our contact page.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to respond and, if you become a customer, for as long as you are one plus the time required for our business and tax records. Requests that don't lead anywhere are deleted within 24 months. Server logs are kept for a shorter period set by our hosting provider.

Your choices and rights

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct it or delete it
• Opt out of calls, texts or emails at any time
• Clear tool inputs by clearing your browser's site data

Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you more rights. Send any request through our contact page; we'll verify it's you and respond within the time the law requires. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.

Security

Forms are sent over encrypted connections, and access to submissions is limited to people who need them to answer you. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send bank or card numbers, passwords or Social Security numbers through our forms.

Children

This site is for trucking businesses and isn't directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
