Terms of Use
LAST UPDATED OCTOBER 4, 2026
These terms cover your use of haulterminal.com, run by HaulTerminal ("we", "us"): the pages, guides, calculators and forms. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
These terms are not the dispatch agreement
Using this website, sending a form or talking to us on the phone doesn't make you a dispatch customer. Dispatch services start only when you and we sign a separate dispatch agreement. That agreement sets the fee, the services, the notice period and everything else about working together, and it takes priority over anything on this site.
How bookings work
We are a dispatch service. We are not a freight broker, and we don't book freight in our own name. When we find a load for a customer, the broker sends the rate confirmation directly to the carrier. The carrier reviews it and decides whether to accept or decline it. We never sign a rate confirmation on a carrier's behalf.
No guarantees of loads, rates or income
Freight markets change every day. Nothing on this site promises a number of loads, a rate per mile, a weekly income, approval by any broker or program, or approval for factoring. Examples on the site, including worked examples in guides and calculators, are labeled as examples and are not predictions of your results.
Guides and calculators
Our guides and tools are general information to help you plan. They aren't legal, tax, insurance, financial or compliance advice, and they don't replace the rules themselves or a qualified professional. We work to keep facts current and cite sources with the date we checked them, but rules, rates and limits change, and states can differ. Check the official source before you rely on a number, and use calculators as estimates. Calculator results depend entirely on the inputs you enter.
Pricing on this site
Prices described on the site reflect our published fee schedule on the date shown. Your dispatch agreement states the fee that applies to you. If the two ever differ, the signed agreement controls.
Who the site is for
The site is meant for trucking businesses and the people who run them in the United States: owner-operators, new authorities, small fleets and their staff. You need to be at least 18 to send a form. If you use the site for a company, you confirm you can act for it.
Equipment we dispatch
The site describes dispatch for the equipment types listed on it, from 26 ft box trucks and larger, through power only, vans, reefers, open decks, car haulers, tankers and oversize. We don't dispatch cargo vans or box trucks under 26 feet, and a form sent for that equipment won't lead to a dispatch offer.
Forms and communications
When you send a form, you confirm the information is accurate and that you're authorized to share it for your business. If you agree to be contacted, we may call, text or email you about your request as described on the form and in our Privacy Policy. You can opt out at any time.
Partner links and referrals
Some links go to partners, such as a factoring company, a drug and alcohol testing consortium, or a truck breakdown protection plan. We may be paid if you sign up through them, as explained in our disclosure. Partners are independent companies. Their products, prices, approval decisions and terms are their own, and your agreement with them is between you and them.
Acceptable use
- Don't send false information, spam or automated form submissions.
- Don't try to break, overload or get unauthorized access to the site.
- Don't copy large parts of the site's content or tools to republish them as your own.
You're welcome to link to any page, quote short passages with a link back, and print tool results for your own use.
Intellectual property
The site's text, design, graphics, calculators and code belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Trademarks of other companies mentioned on the site belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.
Third-party sites
We link to government sources, partners and other websites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, availability or practices.
Disclaimer and limit of liability
The site is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties about the site, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and availability. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or loads, arising from your use of the site, its guides or its tools. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Your responsibility
You're responsible for how you use the information on the site and for your own business decisions, including which loads you accept, how you load and operate your equipment, and how you comply with the rules that apply to you. If your misuse of the site causes a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim to the extent the law allows.
Accessibility
We build the site to be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader and a phone in the cab. If something doesn't work for you, tell us through our contact page and we'll help you get the information another way and fix the page.
Ending access
We can suspend or block access to the site, or to its forms, for anyone who breaks these terms or tries to misuse the site, and we can change or remove pages and tools at any time. If a tool you rely on changes, earlier results you saved stay yours.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use of the site means you accept the update.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state where HaulTerminal is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
